A gentle, relaxing 2 day weekend retreat* for all new parents and their babies.

10am-4.30pm each day

Facilitated by Karen Ditchfield with guest expert speakers.

£400 per couple for 2 days.

* there is an option to stay over for one night's bed and breakfast at the retreat venue with spa treatments. Please get in touch for more details.

The COCOON retreat includes:

Cocoon is a blissful, relaxing, informative and supportive weekend retreat for all new parents and their babies (aged from 8 weeks until 6 months old) delivered across a full weekend. 

Cocoon is designed to compliment existing maternity and child health services.

Cocoon has been designed as a 'baby- moon' to support and promote a new parent's spiritual, psychological, emotional and physical well-being after the birth of their baby. 

Cocoon provides a safe, calm and nurturing environment for all new families to develop skills and knowledge about their baby, gain invaluable support and advice from baby experts and learn specific relaxation techniques.

Cocoon workshops included:

  • Infant feeding

  • Baby Sleep

  • Father-baby massage

  • postnatal yoga 

  • Understanding and communicating with babies

  • Understanding infant crying

  • Gentle soothing and settling techniques.

  • Safe swaddling

  • Birth Art

  • The pelvic floor and sex after birth

  • Guided meditation and breathing exercises.

*Parents are also welcome to attend our Listening Cafe running throughout the retreat for specific advice on 4th trimester issues from anxiety and coping with crying to sleep or feeding.
